Victor L. Zimmermann is a partner in the New York office of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP, an international law firm with 18 offices in the United States, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and East Asia. Mr. Zimmermann is Co-Chair of the firm’s Investment Management group and has experience representing broker-dealers, banks and investment advisers in day-to-day regulatory matters, financings, acquisitions, and proceedings before the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other federal and state regulatory bodies. He also represents sponsors, managers, investors, consultants and fund administrators involved with domestic and offshore private equity and hedge funds. He was formerly with the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Zimmermann is active with the Pro Bono Partnership which provides pro bono legal services to not-for-profits in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut area. Mr. Zimmermann graduated from Fordham Preparatory School in the Bronx, Holy Cross College and received his J.D. from Fordham Law School.
